What is this portal for?

This portal is aimed at technical users. It provides the necessary information to develop an integration between the Register a Food Business (RAFB) API and the systems(s) used by a local authority.

If you are an end-user (Local Authority) looking for information on how to use, maintain, or access the system, please consult with your integration partner.

The documentation provided includes a reference document with sample requests and responses for each operation type , a change history, and an API definition for each currently-supported version of the API

Please note that old version of the API will not be maintained indefinitely; only the newest and second-newest versions receive ongoing support and are therefore suitable for new integrations.
